Kohima, April 13 (DIPR): The 30th convocation of Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre Kohima was held on April 13 at Modern College, Kohima with Commissioner Secretary, IT and Communication, K.D Vizo as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Vizo congratulated all the successful candidates for clearing their respective degrees and diplomas in IGNOU. It is not only the responsibility of the teachers to keep inspiring on the students but it is a combination of teachers, students and parents to work hand in hand in order to become successful, he said. He further said that dedication of parents or institution is of no use unless the students themselves fulfil their responsibility.
Regional Director, IGNOU, Dr. T. Iralu presented a report while the vote of thanks was proposed by Section Officer, IGNOU Kohima, R.V. Tetso. Asst. Professor, Department of Education, Modern College, Deepali Thapa delivered the welcome address. Arenchenla presented a special number.
