IGP CRPF reviews overall security situation in Nagaland

IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector take part in ‘FIT India Movement’ at 173 Bn CRPF Headquarters along with the jawans and their family members on September 6.

Dimapur, August 7 (MExN): Randeep Datta, PMG, Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector along with DIG (Operations), CRPF, Kohima visited 173 Bn CRPF Headquarter at Dimapur and other CRPF establishments to review the overall security situation in Nagaland on September 6. 

According to a press release from 173 BN CRPF, the senior commanders were briefed by Vishnu Gautam, Commandant 173 on the preparedness of CRPF in performance of their assigned duties in Nagaland. The IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector expressed satisfaction on the commitment and preparedness of CRPF in the state. He complimented the troops for their sustained hard work, professionalism and devotion to duty. 

“During his visit, he will also hold several security meetings with other security agencies in Dimapur and Kohima as well,” a CRPF official said.

The IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector also took part in “FIT India Movement” at 173 Bn CRPF Headquarters along with the jawans and their family members which is a nation-wide movement in India to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by inculcating physical activities and sports in daily lives.
