Yemlong Chaba with IHRC Tuensang dist team during free distribution of mask
Kohima, September 15 (MExN): The International Human Rights Council (IHRC) of Tuensang district under Nagaland state initiated free distribution of mask at Tuensang town on September 12 last under the guidance and leadership of B Yemlong Chaba, vice secretary, IHRC Nagaland state.
Around 3000 mask have been given to the vegetable sellers, traders, shopkeepers including public. About 25 volunteers assisted the free distribution of mask at the different locations of the town.
Earlier, on August 23, the team of IHRC Tuensang provided food items and sanitary kits at Konya village, around 35 kilometres away from Tuensang town. It also conducted seminar on precautionary steps on COVID-19. Yemlong Chaba highlighted the human rights activities to the village council.
