Dimapur, June 16 (MExN): Rishav Sethi, a Dimapur lad who recently cracked the JEE Advanced Test and become an IIT aspirant visited S.D. Jain Higher Secondary School and had an interactive session with the Science Stream Students of Class 11 & 12.
A press note from the school informed that during the interaction, Rishav attributed his academic success to different factors like support and guidance from teachers, parents, proper planning and preparation in studies and also hard work.
He also pointed out that it is very important to have a competitive environment in schools to bring the best out of a student, it added.
Rishav also encouraged the students to prepare themselves for the tougher challenges they will have to confront in competitive examinations and sit for as many competitive examinations as possible, it said.
He also give pointers to the students for preparing themselves for achieving success in highly competitive examination like JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
Regretted that students from Nagaland, though talented, lack competitiveness and proper exposure, he also encouraged his counterparts to challenge themselves and become an aspirant to some of the best technical institutes in the country like IIT and NIT.
The Principal of the School Reji Abraham also congratulated Rishav for his recent achievement and wished him all the best for the future.
