Zunheboto, January 3 (MExN): Ikiye Village Union Zunheboto (IVUZ) celebrated silver jubilee on January 1 at DC Hill Colony Zunheboto.
The jubilee programme began with prayer by Tokali Chophy. Head GB of Ikiye Village Kakheto Aye delivered the note of celebration where he stated that IVUZ was established in the year 1994 with seven household with the prime objective to unify members of Ikiye village and to bring prosperity amongst its citizens. He urged the gathering to live in faith with God and extend best wishes to attain golden jubilee in the year 2044.
Delivering the word of God, Vizheli Achumi, ex. women leader said that through the attainment of silver jubilee there should be forgiveness and acceptance of others weakness through Christian principals. She said that jubilee signifies the purest of celebration and it is a year of blessings.
Vitoka K Aye, media and publicity in-charge, IVUZ Silver Jubilee in a press release stated that on the occasion, jubilee special song was presented by Ghoshini Zhimo and friends. Shivito Chophy, Chairman and Shikaho H Achumi, Secretary of Jubilee planning Committee chaired the programme. Secretary Avishe Ayemi announced the host of 2020 New Year Celebrations and mass benediction followed by jubilee feast.
