At this juncture when Nagaland has for the 1st time witnessed illegal immigrants attacking local population and even to the extend of gang raping young women in front of their spouse, these are the early warnings for the day when illegal immigrants will turn Nagaland into another Bodoland and transform our paradise into an Indonesian State (The country where the local population is a minority now, taken over by immigrants who came in the guise of cheap labour).
At Present, we are enjoying the benefits of having cheap labour. The more we encourage Miyas to stay in our farms and use them for labour and give them shelter, we are indirectly setting the timer in our self destructing time bomb! Ever since the inception of this blog in 2008, I have been sending out warning messages that unless we take the Miya issue seriously, I won't be surprised if we see our 1st Miya MLA around 2020! Hypothetically by 2025, the same fate that has landed on our neighbours the Bodos today will happen to us wherein Illegal Immigrants(Miyas) will easily outnumber us Nagas - They will launch an all out attack where the same people whom you so lovingly gave land, helped him open a shop and made him rich will come and burn your house and rape your women and children!
THE MIYA TAKE OVER - Remember? When they initially came as cheap labour, cheaper than the UP wallas and the Biharis! If you notice, where have all the Biharis and UP Deshwalis gone? Miyas have taken control of the labour business because they did the same job at a cheaper price. And we Nagas with our short-sightedness started giving more opportunity to the Miyas and ultimately Dimapur is now infested with illegal immigrants and the ‘Deshwalis’ have bid adieu to Nagaland.
Now Miyas have taken control over the biggest businesses in Nagaland - The Booze, the second hand clothes and slowly every single business will be controlled by illegal immigrants. Talking about booze, even if we hold rallies, the owners of the restaurants and paan shops selling booze will simply look at the rally passing cooly sitting in their illegal wine stores, selling beer and whisky to customers right under the noses of the protestors. We need to re-think our strategy and use direct practical measures to tackle this menace in our society. Miyas now indirectly control the economy of Nagaland because they have control over the major businesses in Nagaland! And Yes their economy is running in CRORES of rupees! Now they have started to BEAT UP our local Nagas and even raping our women. Apparently some of our UG's are employing Miyas to fight for our Freedom? Rather than dreaming of a Sovereign Nagaland, these Miyas will integrate Nagaland with Bangaldesh gradually. They are on the verge of buying out Dimapur by the way!
BODOLAND is BURNING Today! Tomorrow Nagaland will BURN! What can we do to save our future before Nagaland burns and turns into Miyaland? We should not use violent means, we can strategize and tackle it wisely!
As a Citizen: Every single young Naga can force your parents and elders to discourage giving employment or rent to a Miya! In your colonies, do not hire a Miya to do your job! Do not keep Miyas in your shops, businesses and farms. Let us learn our traditional ways of hard work and manual labour so that we depend less on cheap labour that will turn us fat, lazy and finally get conquered.
As a Leader or Organization: Levy a fine to those Nagas in your locality or your jurisdiction who harbour illegal immigrants.
As an Administrator: If milk is spilling out from a plastic bag, we simply need to plug that hole! There are only two holes through which these pests are entering Nagaland! 1. Railway Station 2. Nagaland Check Gate (Dimapur)! Kindly tighten up the security in these two loopholes to control the influx. Rather than a half drunk lazy policeman authorized to do these checks, delegate the duty of protecting our future to young stringent officers.
As a Politician: Unless you make strong laws and policies to stop this menace, we will vote you out in the coming election! (Pun intended)
Our future and identity as a Naga is at stake unless each and every Naga make strong efforts today (Kali nahobo dei Sathi khan)! Let’s work together and reverse our deadly fate!

Kallol Dey: Remember the 2004 Oct.2 Twin Bomb Blasts in Dimapur! There was a theory doing rounds till after 2 years since the incident that it was a reaction of Muslim terrorists to the NSF drive against Muslims in Kohima. It was just a speculation or maybe something more! Interestingly the investigation report on the unprecedented bomb blasts have not yet been made public (At least I am not aware; correct me if I am wrong), even after a lapse of 7 plus years! Two years after the Bomb Blasts, I had gone to the Secretariat to inquire into the outcome of the investigation & even the files could not be located!
Qrt KVYO: Any individual residing at Kohima municipal areas or under Traditional jurisdiction of Kohima Village can contact KVYO's Quick Response Team for any cases of Non-locals working with Naga undergrounds for nefarious activities.
Would like to share with members of The Naga Blog that we have already taken care of two such cases. One was Umesh Bihari and recently a week back a certain Jalaluddin. Both used by UG groups.
Kevi Viswentso Angami: My village youth organisation acted on this matter a long time back and now the entire village jurisdiction is MIYA FREE. When we can do it? Why can't colonies/villages like Signal Angami Village, Nagagaon Colony, Neisatuo Colony, Purana Bazar, Circuit House colony do it? Evicting these parasites is not like taking on the Taliban! Mass eviction or deportation can never happen in Dimapur unless villages/colonies start from within their own area.
Lanu Lonkumer: Once when I was in Tuensang I went to Bazar with my Aunty on one Friday and to my surprise almost all the shops were closed only some Locals were selling vegetables that too in the foot path. So I ask my Aunt is there some kind of Bandh and my aunt replied that almost all the shop are own by Miyas and every Friday they go for prayer so its like this every Friday. And she even told me that they can't even raise their voice to them because they are supported by the local people. And also the President of Chamber of Commerce is a Miya. I was so shocked that I told some of my friends from Tuensang and even my uncle who is from Chang tribe to tackle the Miya issue with the help of student's Unions like we have done in Mokokchung.
(Kindly note that this article and the term ‘Miya’ is strictly directed to Illegal Immigrants and does not aim to bring communal disharmony in anyway)
