Wokha, December 14 (MExN): The Assam Rifles alongwith Police representatives seized 255 cases of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth around Rs 18.30 lakh in Wokha on December 14, an official release informed. Two persons were also arrested in this connection.
The seizure was made when an operation based on specific input was conducted in the general area Zero point, Wokha as part of the ongoing crackdown by Security Forces to prevent illegal activities, the release from HQ IGAR (N) informed.
The duo alongwith the recovered items have been handed over to the Wokha Police Station for further investigation, it added.
