Mokokchung, August 30 (MExN): Renowned young Naga personality, Imlibenla Wati has sponsored the repairing of an important approach road in Mission Compound, Aongza Ward, Mokokchung town.
The road, measuring about 150 metres, lead to two important landmarks in the locality - MTBA Aongza Fellowship church building and Rev. Longri Memorial Hostel. The important but much neglected road will be paved with concrete, the expenses of which will be sponsored by Imlibenla while the labour force will be contributed by the church workers.
A brief thanksgiving programme was held today in this respect, where Imlibenla said that being born and brought up in Aongza Ward, she had always wanted to contribute to the community and that she would always aspire to contribute in the future too. She also thanked the church members for their prayers and support while also acknowledging the Aongza ward authority for their cooperation. Chairman of Aongza Ward, Longritemjen Ao expressed appreciation to Imlibenla for her contribution and also wished her goodwill in her future endeavours.
The thanksgiving service was led by Temsuwati Kichu, Associate Pastor MTBA and was attended by church workers and Aongza ward authority.
