Yangthungbemo Kikon, NCS, SDO (Civil) Dimapur
Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): Immanuel College, Dimapur, hosted its Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2024 at the college auditorium with Yangthungbemo Kikon, NCS, SDO (Civil) Dimapur as the Commencement Speaker.
The guest in his speech emphasised the importance of perseverance and ethical conduct in both personal and professional life. He also felicitated the toppers.
The ceremony commenced with an invocation by Masakala Tzudir, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany followed by an introduction and welcome address by Dr T Imchanchetla Changkiija, Vice Principal of Immanuel College. Lanusangla Imsong, Asst. Prof. Department of Zoology delivered the speech on behalf of the teachers and Tolino Zhimo, B.A 3rd semester presented a song. The Chairman of the Governing Body, Dr A Loso Chalai, led the felicitation of the teachers.
The highlight of the ceremony was the graduation speeches by the top performers, including Avitoli Muru, B.Sc. Zoology Gold Medalist, M Yeanglem Konyak, B.Sc. Botany Topper, and others. Graduation certificates were then presented by Th. Sharatchandra Singh, Principal of Immanuel College. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Daisy Odyuo, followed by a benediction by Ngipsho M Konyak. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Gwesy Michuing, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
