Dimapur, February 8 (MExN): Immanuel College organized Myriad Fest Vol. 3.0 under the theme 'Audentes Fortuna Iuvat' (Fortune favours the Bold) from February 5 to 7.
Project Director, TaFMA, Government of Nagaland, Dr Hovithal Sothu stressing on the theme of the fest, exhorted the students to be different and be the best in whatever they choose to do which would make them stand out from others. This was stated in a press release issued by the event organisers of the college.
He also spoke on the importance of education and building skills and most importantly to put God first in their life.
The event was attended by faculty, students and alumni. Highlights of the fest were spelling bee competition, mobile gaming, painting among others. An award ceremony to honour and recognise outstanding performance of the students for cocurricular activities was also held.
During the fest, H Chemai Konyak and Lita Zhimo were declared as the Winner for Mr and Miss Myriad Fest, 2025 respectively.
M Mhonchan Patton and Honglen won title for Best Ethnic wear male and female while Vilino Kits won the title Miss Congeniality and Aloka Ayemi was given the title of Mr Personality.
On the second day, events such as Voice of the Myriad and Poetry slam, Cosplay, traditional games competition among others were held. The third day featured a cultural day with various traditional dances, war cry, songs, traditional attire show.
