DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 30 (MExN): Immanuel College, Dimapur held its annual transformative 'Spiritual Awakening Crusade' with Rev Kilang Jamir, Director of Youth Harvest Ministry, Dimapur as the keynote speaker at the College Auditorium on September 30.

Anchored in the profound theme “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3), the speaker revitalized the audience by drawing inspiration from the life of Nicodemus, a press release stated.

Emphasizing that Jesus is not swayed by one's social status, Rev Kilang underscored the importance of being born again. Without Christ, life becomes burdensome and seemingly impossible, he said. Urging the audience to seize the opportunity, he invited them to receive not only Jesus but also life, forgiveness, joy, peace, humility, gentleness, and eternal life through Christ. The transformative power of Christ, he asserted, would manifest in one's character, bringing blessings.

Angap Konyak, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, chaired the initial session of the program, while the second session was led by Ellika N Chishi, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics.

Earlier, Dr A Loso Chalai, Chairman of the Governing Body of Immanuel College, initiated the proceedings with a compelling welcome address. The disciples of Youth Harvest Ministry, students, and assistant professors of Immanuel College presented a variety of items during the event. The crusade, marked by spiritual rejuvenation and communal harmony, left an indelible impact on all attendees, fostering a sense of renewal and connection with a higher purpose, the press release informed.
