
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 14 (MExN): Naga musician Imna Yaden released his latest video, “Vande Mataram,” on YouTube on August 14, on the eve of India’s 78th Independence Day.
According to the musician, the video is a tribute song for the Assam Rifles, “Sentinels of the Northeast,” one of the oldest paramilitary forces. “This Independence Day we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the men and women in uniform, their valor and selfless dedication are the pillar of our Nation,” a description of the video reads.
It also pays homage to late Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse, MVC, for his ultimate sacrifice for the nation, as well as triumphs of Captain (Hon) Imliakum, MVC, and thousands of brave Naga soldiers serving “our great Nation.”
Ahon Toham and Imna Yaden are credited for composition and lyrics, while Wangching Konyak, Audio Craft, Dimapur, is the music producer. He also mixed the music. The video also features Atsa Lang Roths on guitar, while Kunwang Konyak is the additional vocalist.
Akum Den is the Project Director, and Studio Lagom edited the video. Cinematography was done by Studio Lagom & Menang Jamir (Mesen Films), while Rashimeren and Among Longchar are credited for set design and lights.
