As part of their “Impact 5000 by 2018” campaign, YouthNet in collaboration with the Mokokchung Entrepreneurs Consortium are organizing seminars on career guidance and entrepreneurship at schools and colleges in Mokokchung.
Their 2-day stopover at Mokokchung will also feature a seminar for entrepreneurs and drop outs as well as a ‘job booth’ where training opportunities and job placements will be highlighted to interested unemployed youths and students of Mokokchung.
YouthNet and MEC today organized career guidance seminars at Edith Douglas HS School and Queen Mary HS School while another seminar on entrepreneurship was also conducted at Fazl Ali College.
On August 20, similar career guidance seminars will be conducted at Jubilee Memorial School, Jubilee Memorial College and Mayangnokcha Government HS School at the respective institutions while a seminar for entrepreneurs and drop outs will be held at Longkumer Kilem.
The ‘job booth’ is being opened at Imlong Place for August 19 and 20. The organizers have also appointed two students of Jubilee Memorial College as their ‘ambassadors of clean election’ who accompany YouthNet and MEC and interact with students on clean election.
