A private company in Manipur is all set to launch the Imphal-Mandalay charter flight service on November 23.
KB Enterprises, the company which will be the service providers of the charter flight announced this on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference at its office in Imphal’s MG Avenue, proprietor of the enterprise, Kunjabihari Pangambam said that the inaugural flight will be taken off from Imphal international Airport on November 23. He also said that for the time being it will be charter flight which the fare is a bid high as the state did not have the bilateral air service permit.
“The fare rate will be a bit high as it is a charter flight. However, the state government will give subsidy. Chief minister N Biren Singh had earlier given his assurance to provide subsidy by the state government,” he said.
