The importance of learning Chinese language in the current scenario

The world population is ever increasing. At present, the world’s population is more than 10 billion. India and China contribute to almost almost half of the world’s population. As India and China are neighbors, there is a great need to learn how to communicate in each other’s language. And with the ever increasing population, the rate of unemployment is also increasing day by day. There is a need for us to find alternatives to tackle this unemployment problem.
Chinese language, globally known as Mandarin is the most used language in the world. Mandarin is the official language of China. It is also spoken in 12 other countries. It is the second most used language on the internet, only next to English. With all these developments, there is a great need to learn how to speak and write Chinese language for better employability. Learning the language will also help us to communicate better with our neighbor and learn about their culture.
By saying ‘employability’, China is the second largest economy in the world, next only to USA and will take over as the leading economy in the world in some few years time. The rate of growth of China’s economy is tremendous. Infrastructure such as buildings, roads, bridges and railways are being built at a short span of time. The rich economy opens up a way for employment and without the capacity and knowledge to communicate in Chinese language, there is no chance of employment in China as well as in some sectors in India.
Talking in view of India, both countries share large ties, both geographically and economically. India being a developing country can’t afford to give employment to all unlike China. The dynamism of China and its culture opens up the road for ‘Chinese dreams’ which replaces ‘American dreams’ in the 21st century. It is very important to note that the Chinese are coming to the stage of monopolizing the world economy as well as world politics.
Keeping in mind the economic boom and advancement of China in fields like Information Technology and military technology, we need to realize the great need to learn Chinese language in order to understand the movements of China. Individually, we need to learn the language for better employability as the economy is sound. Employment can also happen in Private as well as Public domain as Indian Government is planning to hire 10,000 Chinese language trainers from abroad. If Indian trainers are available, Government will surely prefer them as a lot of money can be saved by hiring Indians instead of Chinese.
To conclude, in view of the present situation of the world centered around China, there is great opportunity as well as importance to learn Chinese language.
