Participants of the refresher course for alumni of Impur Bible Seminary held from March 7 to 24.
Impur, March 25 (MExN): The refresher course for the alumni of Impur Bible Seminary (IBS) was held from March 7 to 24. Altogether 30 alumni from different parts of India and the world at large attended the course.
“In a context where living becomes so perplexing, the primary need for the church workers is to present sound teachings in all corners. Understanding the need for leaders, this course was conducted,” Imtila Longkümer, Principal, IBS stated in a press release.
The facilitators during the course were Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM, Dr Akok Amer, Pastor Impur BC, Rev Toshi Longchar, Temsüla Aier, Teka Imchen, Youth Co-ordinator, and IBS teaching staff.
Meanwhile, IBS also observed its 68th foundation day on March 24 in the presence of the alumni. During this occasion, Rev Dr Mar Pongener encouraged all to “work without attrition at all times because God counts how you work but not how long you work. And therefore, let us work with accountability he added.”
