Dimapur, February 3 (MExN): The Indigenous Minority Tribes of Nagaland (IMTN) an organisation of Kuki, Kachari, Garo and Karbi/Mikir tribes has condemned the ‘highhandedness committed against rightful citizens.’ While condemning the State Government for “uses of brutality in the form of unleashing its state armed forces”, IMTN called every sensible people in the State of Nagaland to condemn the same.
“The loss of the two young lives and their supreme sacrifice is the result of the arrogance and mis-governance of the present State government, where the government has failed totally and miserably in every front to govern the state and ensure the rights of its citizens,” the organisation stated.
The IMTN also said that it gives due respect and salute to the two brave martyred sons of Nagaland who have sacrificed their life for the future generations.
It also prays “all the tribes of Nagaland to work in unison to overcome the challenges facing us today which may be detrimental to our future generations and any other issues in the days to come in regards to our State of Nagaland.” The organisation has conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to those who also were injured.
