Indian Army conducts orientation camp for NCC cadets 

DIMAPUR, MAY 3 (MExN): Indian Army conducted one day orientation cum training camp on May 3 for the NCC cadets of NCC group, Kohima at Zakhama Military Station to give an insight of the life of a soldier and motivate them to join Army. 

Altogether 75 cadets of St Joseph College, Japhu Christian College and Loyola Higher Secondary  School affiliated to 1 Naga Girls NCC Battalion, Kohima and  24 (I) NCC Company, Kohima attended the orientation Camp. 
    
The NCC cadets were shown various military activities including physical training, mountain craft training and lectures as motivation to join Indian Army as Officers and Agniveer, a press release issued by PRO (Defence), Kohima & Imphal stated. 

The cadets also got opportunity to interact with gallantry award winners who further motivated them with their real life stories.
