Dimapur, February 24 (MExN): Starting April 2023, online entrance exams for recruitment in the Indian Army will be held annually and announcement regarding the exams will be posted on the Join Indian Army website (www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Stating this in a press release received here, the PRO (Def) informed that prospective candidates must complete the online registration process through the portal. The Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be conducted at various centres across the nation.
The shortlisted candidates, based on their performance in the Online CEE, will be invited for the physical test and medical examination through a recruitment rally. The final selection will be made based on merit and successful candidates will be selected for their training after scrutiny of their documents/certificates, it said.
It also advised candidates to register themselves in Digilocker for Aadhaar, educational certificates, etc and have a valid mobile number and email ID linked with their respective Aadhaar. For any assistance candidates can contact their nearest Army Recruiting Office (ARO), it said.
Further, the release stated that multiple videos have also been hosted on the Join Indian Army website regarding the registration, application and attempting the Online CEE. All candidates are advised to take help of the videos while applying for the recruitment.
Registration window for the candidates for applying for the recruitment for the Recruitment Year 2023-24 will be opened in near future. All candidates are also advised to be very careful while filling in their details in the application as the same cannot be change once submitted, the release stated while wishing all candidates the best for their future.
