Indian Army Recruitment Outreach programme conducted in Rangapahar

RANGAPAHAR, FEBRUARY 5 (MExN): Indian Army Recruitment Outreach programme was organised at Rangapahar to enhance recruitment of Agniveer aspirants, in coordination with Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rangapahar in Nagaland on February 5. The outreach programme was attended by over 150 eligible students including 60 girls.

The session covered on nuisances of Agnipath scheme of recruitment, its advantages, opportunities and clarifications of queries.

 Modalities of officer level entry schemes to include National Defence Academy (NDA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Services (MNS) and Territorial Army (TA). Details of the Service Selection Board (SSB) procedures were also elaborated upon.

The aspirants were briefed about the eligibility criteria, application procedures, and selection processes for each scheme. They were also explained about the organisation of Army and types of Arms and Services.  Handouts, posters, pamphlets and other publicity materials were also distributed.
