The Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur District, held a free medical camp at Aghunaqa Area Hq on 24 September covering an area of 36 villages. The response was very good and in all about 1150 patients were treated and provided free medicines and treatment.

All this was made possible, firstly, by the Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association led by its President Ato Yepthomi, who not only very generously arranged good quality medicines for the camp but also distributed the medicine to all the patients, very efficiently led by Virender Sharma (Healthcare Pharmacy) and G.K.Nair (Merry Pharmacy)

Imkong Tushi, former Director of Medical Services Nagaland and now General Secretary of Nagaland Red Cross, Dr. Shabana Khatoon (Homeo) from Jain Hospital, Dr. Newto Shohe (Gynae) and  Dr. Shikato Yeptho (Surgical) both from Faith Hospital, Dr. S.K. Dey, DR. Phyobemo Jami (ENT) from JK Hospital, Dr. Along Jamir (Dental) and Dr. Lima Jamir (Patho& Skin) from civil hospital.
