Longleng, February 26 (MExN): The twelve days Induction Training Programme (ITP) for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ State government employees of Longleng district concluded on February 26. The training was sponsored by DoPT, Government of India and organised by Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Kohima
The programme which started on February 15 covered various topics on soft skills such as personality development and office procedures.
The valedictory function was chaired by Dr. Hovithal N. Sothu, Deputy Director, ATI. Zhoi Lohe, EAC HQ Longleng district proposed the votes of thanks and Dr. A. Alem W. Longchar, Course Coordinator for ITP, Longleng district presented the course evaluation of the training.
I. Changsang, EAC Yongnyah spoke on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng and conveyed his wishes to the trainees. The EAC exhorted the trainees to carry the training forward for the welfare of the public. He shared the importance of the ministerial staffs in the governance and encouraged the trainees to be responsible public servants while discharging their entrusted duties.
Altogether, 44 participants attended the training and were awarded with participatory certificates by I. Changsang, EAC Yongnyah.
