Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): All NYKs affiliated Youth Clubs of Nagaland are informed that Nehru Yuva Kendra, Nagaland confers Best Youth Club annually in order to encourage the growth of Youth Clubs which have been recognized as catalysts of social change. It is annual affairs and the application for the award is received August 30 every year. In this financial year, there will be additional block levels youth clubs awards too. In some districts, selections are under process.
Therefore, the interested Youth Clubs which are affiliated with NYKs can apply for District Level and block level awards on or before February 13. Forms are available at district offices.
At the District level, the winners will be awarded a sum of Rs.25,000/- and at the State level the award will be Rs.1,00,000/-.At the National level, three awards of Rs.5,00,000/-, Rs.3,00,000/- and Rs.2,00,000/- will be given. For the block level Rs. 8000/- and Rs. 4000/- . The Youth Clubs would utilize the award money in community development projects and programmes.
