KOHIMA, OCTOBER 16 (MExN): The Sepfuzou Colony Welfare Board expressed surprise and schock to learn of the kidnapping of two of its ‘humble resident’, Shalong Pou and Kevi Pou, director and Warden of Good Samaritan Boys Hostel, on the night of October 14 at around 9:00 PM.
It this connection, the Chairman and Secretary of the colony welfare board, Nitovi Swu and Khriehuzo Lohe, has appealed to the concerned organization/group/individual to release them safely so as to settle the matter (if any) amicably between both the parties. The Board has also appealed to the concerned law enforcing agencies to expedite their investigation to trace out the missing persons before it is too late.
Meanwhile the Sepfuzou Coloney Youth Organisation informed the general public of the two persons who had gone missing since ‘October 13’ after having met some ‘unknown persons’ at the hostel. Not having received any news of the two even after a lapse of three days, the youth organization appeals to persons or groups having any knowledge about them to bring forward the news to the colony so as to end the anxiety and fears of the colony members. The organization also strongly urged the police department to look into the matter on priority. In a separate press release, the Poumai Hoho, Dimapur, expressed deep concern over the said kidnapping by some ‘unknown persons’. The General Secretary C.H. Seikho Prou has appealed to the people or organization responsible for the deed to kindly release the two unharmed on humanitarian grounds in the interest of Naga Brotherhood.
