Mokokchung, June 1 (MExN): The Board of Under Graduate Studies (BUGS) under the Ao Senden Literature Board (ASLB) held its first meeting in Fazl Ali College on May 31 under the chairmanship of Prof Sangyu Yaden, Dean’s Nominee of the School of Humanities and Education, NU. A press release stated that the meeting deliberated in length about the need for introduction of Honours Course in Ao under NU at the earliest and preparation of new course structure was also initiated. The existing course was revised and many interesting title of the paper have been proposed covering a wide range of areas of Honours Course.
The meeting resolved to move for creation of at least three additional faculties for FAC Mokokchung to enable the introduction of Honours Course in Ao and two each for Dimapur and Kohima Government colleges to enable the introduction of Ao subject in those colleges beginning from 2018 onwards.
