Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): The Inner Wheel Circle (IWC) Dimapur constructed and donated a waiting shed at Dhobinala auto stand for the auto drivers in particular and the passengers in general. A press release from the IWC on Saturday informed that the waiting shed was constructed under the supervision of its former President Sanjukta Bhattacharjee, Secretary Nidhi Modi and Treasurer Shobha Jain.
Sanjukta Bhattacharjee said that the construction of the shed was to contribute to the ‘better Dimapur’ motto and urged denizens of Dimapur to follow 'Clean and Green Dimapur'.
Newly elected President Mamta Bucha shared about the Inner Wheel Club while Secretary Nidhi Modi spoke about the construction process. ADC Dimapur Atekho graced the function as chief guest and Administrator DMC Albert Ezung was the guest of honour. Both of them appreciated the work of the Club and encouraged them to continue such ventures that will help the community.
Addressing the auto drivers, the ADC said that it is now their responsibility to maintain the shed. He also added that the citizens of the town should help the administration to take care of the public property. Zeliangrong Village Head Rengau, President and members of Rotary Club, Dimapur also attended the programme.
