Dimapur, October 2 (MExN): Innerwheel Club of Dimapur organised a fundraiser "Ek Shaam Shiksha Ke Naam" by showcasing the movie “MS Dhoni- The untold story”.
The fundraiser was a huge success with a houseful response and tickets being completely sold out, a press release from the Club informed. The money collected shall go for the club's Literacy Mission, it added.
The club has adopted GMS Zeliangrong and aims to soon convert it into a “Happy School” by providing all necessary facilities. Work on running water supply for the school’s toilets is already complete and next the club is planning to provide the children with school shoes, library, drinking water etc., the club informed. The Club is also working on teachers training and other aspects of literacy to uplift the education system.
