Kohima, August 11 (MExN): The Kohima District Level NARCO Coordination Centre (NCORD) Committee conducted a verification drive to inspect the installation of CCTV Cameras in all pharmacies within Kohima City.

This verification was carried out as a follow-up to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Kohima on April 19, 2023, directing all pharmacies and medical stores to install CCTV cameras inside and outside their premises within a month, a DIPR report stated.

The verification was conducted from August 7 to 10 by the Committee Team, comprising members from the District Administration, Kohima Police, and the Medical Department. The NCORD Committee emphasized the need for compliance and cautioned that non-compliance would result in legal action.
