Kohima, July 17 (MExN): The installation ceremony for Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Meluri Region Office Bearers (2024–2027)-cum-Consultative Meeting was held on July 17 at Meluri Village Council Hall. 

Gracing the event, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor, NRE and NSDMA emphasized the importance of Human Resource Development (HRD), stating that skilled, motivated, and dedicated workforce forms the foundation of any societal progress.

He urged everyone to work shoulder to shoulder, fostering teamwork, mutual support, and collective effort for continuous improvement. 

Nyuthe also expressed happiness with the developmental achievements in the constituency over the past few years.

He extended gratitude to all those involved in the successful completion of various projects, acknowledging their dedication and sincerity.

Furthermore, he called upon the gathering to uphold the values of honesty and commitment to ensure sustained progress in society. 

The oath-taking ceremony for the Meluri Region Office Bearers (2024–2027) was administered by Zhitho Nyuthe, Secretary, CEB NDPP Nagaland, where the members solemnly pledged allegiance to the Party Constitution.

During the event, speeches were also delivered from the President, Meluri Region, Presidents of various organizations, including the Chairperson, Meluri Town Council and PAs to the Advisor.

The programme was chaired by eikro, Working President, Youth Organization, Meluri Region with Isaac Pehry, Secretary, Meluri Region as the recorder. 

Special performances were presented by Chuvirho Nyusou and Kütsiesie Kajiri.

The dedicatory prayer for the newly appointed office bearers was offered by Rev Müluote Nyuwi, Pastor, MVBC, while the invocation prayer was led by T. Hampeng, Chaplain, Meluri Region.
