INTCWS conducts inspection of Colleges

Dimapur, January 11 (MExN): The India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS) Dimapur under the aegis of Libra Consultancy, its educational wing, conducted inspection and verification of colleges and institutes from December 6 to 19, 2010 of different courses in its second phase in Patna, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam for the benefit of tribal students.
A press note issued by Lamtsala Sangtam, INTCWS general secretary informed that the inspection is done to facilitate the students desirous of pursuing various professional courses outside the state, since there are some fake institutes and those that are not recognized by competent authorities. In its venture of helping the tribal students, the society said that it has been successful in signing memorandum of understanding (MOU) and authorization wit some medical, engineering, B-schools and other institutes. The note also informed that the society is specifically working to bring in recognized institutes and make it available to students of northeast region so that they are not duped into unrecognized institutes or any incompetent ones. During its first phase in 2009, the society had inspected many colleges in Bangalore, Mangalore, Raichur, Tumkur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kanniyakumari, Nagercoil, Kerala and so on. Many students were benefited through this inspection and are studying in these places.
