Dimapur, June 14 (MExN): The India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS) Notun Bosti, Dimapur under its education wing - Libra Consultancy, has informed that it has inspected and reserved seats some Engineering and Medical colleges in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and parts of Punjab in the first week of April 2021, “for the welfare and benefit of tribal students.”

This visit was undertaken with a view to provide parents and students to avail correct information with regards to courses, affiliations, fees, faculty, and labs, it said in a press release on Monday. It also informed that that medical seats are given only through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). 

“We endeavor to facilitate and lighten the burdens of our tribal students in this present COVID-19 pandemic scenario,” the release stated, while adding that it has MOUs with 455 universities, colleges and schools in India.
