Intensive Barista training concludes in Kohima

A five-day long intensive Barista training for the second batch concluded at the Directorate of Land Resources, Kohima with the participation of trainees from different districts including one from Rajasthan on November 5.

Anoop Khinchi, Director of Census Operation (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) spoke at the valedictory programme and complimented the department of land resources for upscaling the training activities to promote coffee cultivation in the state.

He maintained that such trainings would go a long way in pushing the coffee growers forward and boost coffee industry in the state.

Later, he handed over certificates to seven trainees.

Land resources additional director Albert Ngullie and State programme coordinator (SPC) SLNA, LRD Inatoli Chishi also spoke at the programme while land resources joint director (Admn) Vanchamo Ngullie gave a closing remark. The trainers of the five day long training programme included; Tokaito Achumi, Vito Swu, Nzanthung, Inatoli Chishi, Angel Naro and Alno Kennao.

Mentionably, the department also recently conducted a four day long Pre-Harvest Training on Coffee at Yahweh Empower Stature (YES) Agro Park, Gariphema.
