Kohima, March 1 (MExN): The Phek district administration under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) has identified skill development as one of the most important focus areas for empowerment of girls and women.
With this, a two day intensive computer skills training programme took place on February 26 and 27 under the aegis of Phek district administration and DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Phek under BBBP.
The intensive training programme was inaugurated by N Bhavani Sri (IAS), SDO (C) Phek and nodal officer BBBP Phek.
The idea behind the training is to provide necessary computer skills which are required for the better implementation of their official duties.
The training focused mainly focus on Microsoft Office softwares like Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.
