The semi final matches of the ongoing Inter Club T20 Tournament were played at Jakhama Village Ground, Kohima today.
Missionshire Cricket Club faced Brotherhood Team in the 1st match. Missionshire CC won the toss and elected to bat. The team scored 182/7 in 20 overs.
Moin Uddin scored the first century of the tournament with an unbeaten 101 runs (not out); Sayed scored 26 runs. Mengu Sachü took 3 wickets for the Brotherhood Team. Chasing the huge score, Brotherhood Team could manage only 145/9 in 20 overs.
Mengu Sachü scored 43 runs and Dziesengulie scored 36 runs. Aktar Khan took 3 wickets giving only 16 runs in his 4 overs
Missionshire Cricket Club won the match by 36 runs and the man of the match award went to Moin Uddin for unbeaten 101 runs and 2 wickets.
In the 2nd semi final, Pfuchatsumia Eagles met Elite Cricket Club, where Pfuchatsumia Eagles won the toss and elected to bowl.
Elite Cricket Club scored a 174/8 in the stipulated 20 overs and Samuel top scored with 52 runs, while Zidu scored 47. Thinuokuolie and Mhaphruonizo took 2 wickets each.
Chasing the target, Pfuchatsumia Eagles were bowled out for only 57/10 in 15.5 overs. Khrietuo scored 24 runs. Sepichem took 4 wickets and Zhalietuo took 2 wickets.
Elite won the match by 117 runs and Samuel was declared man of the match for scoring 52 runs. In the final match to be played on November 27 at NCA Stadium, Sovima, Missionshire will take on Elite Cricket Club.
