Kohima, October 22 (MExN): The 8th edition of annual inter colony Father’s Football Tournament organised by Kohima Lotha Hoho kick started at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on October 21.
11 teams registered for this tournament.
Addressing the inaugural programme as the special guest, Youth Resources & Sports director, Kethosituo Sekhose, lauded the KLH for taking the initiative, saying that such events renew the bond of friendship among one another and adopt a healthy and discipline lifestyle.
In the opening match, defending Champion Rhujung United played against Bayavu FC which ended in goalless draw.
United FAM defeated PAUN United 3-0.
Meanwhile, in the third match, Goldfinch Club, New Reserve defeated Donkho Yinga, DBS 5-0.
The matches will be played in two categories, Group stage from October 21-23, knockout stage from October 28 and the final match will be on October 30.
