Alongside the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Inter District Boxing Championship 2022 commenced at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima under the aegis of Nagaland Amaeteur Boxing Association (NABA) on August 23. Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports (YRS), Wezope Kenye graced the occasion as special guest and encouraged the young boxers to take up sports as a profession with discipline and dedication. YRS Director Akumla Chuba and NABA president, Meren Paul were present on the occasion.
