The Kohima District Badminton Association (KDBA) has successfully conducted the Inter School Badminton Tournament cum talent search under Kohima district for boys and girls under the age group of 9, 11 and 13 years at the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Officers’ Hill, Kohima on June 25 last.
Altogether, 70 pupils from eight schools of Kohima joined the tournament.
After the declaration of the results , the committee selected 25 participants of the under 9,11, 13 years boys and girls for coaching camp along with the present district players (Juniors & Seniors) which commenced from June 26 and will continue till July 7.
As part of preparation for the forthcoming Inter District Badminton championship 2018, the coaching camp is being organized by KDBA and Department of Youth Recourses & sports with Sungit Ao as coach.
