Jalukie, April 30 (MExN): In commemoration of the Golden Jubilee year of Jalukie Town (1966-2016), the Jalukie Town Golden Jubilee Literary Committee is organizing an inter-school literary competition in Jalukie Town from May 5-6. The competition scheduled to be held at the Govt. Higher Secondary School premises is “mainly focused on the students groups to bring about a spirit of oneness and belongingness for holistic upliftment and development of the town in the next generation,” according to a press release from Convenor, Jalukie Town Golden Jubilee Literary Committee. The competition, organized for schools and colleges situated in Jalukie Town, will have the following events: Drawing & Painting – Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories; Quiz –Intermediate and Senior categories; Elocution – Seniors; and Essay Writing – Higher Secondary & College students. Winners will be awarded with cash and certificates, the release said. While inviting all the schools in the town to participate in all the competition events, the Jalukie Town Golden Jubilee Literary Committee has wished all the participating students the best of luck.
