O Sovereign God! [Job 42:2] You can do all things, and no purpose of yours can be thwarted. [Isaiah 46:10] You declare the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose [Isaiah 14:27] for the LORD Almighty has planned, and who can thwart Him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back? [Psalm 33:11] The plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.

O Sovereign God! [I Sam.2: 2] There is none holy like you [Deut. 32:39] There is no god besides you. The Lord put to death and the Lord bring to life, He have wounded and He will heal, and no one can deliver out of His hand. [Dan. 9:14] The LORD our God is righteous in all His deeds which He has done.

O Sovereign God! through the history of mankind, [Levi.26:16/Is.10:16] you bring upon them sudden terror of incurable or wasting diseases and fevers that destroys and drains away lives. [Is.10:15-16] So that man will be brought low and mankind humbled, the eyes of the arrogant humbled. But the LORD Almighty will be exalted by his justice, and the holy God will show himself holy by his righteousness.

O Sovereign God, [Psalms 9: 19&20] today, the world with all its might and power has been stricken by a tiny corona virus and the whole world is terrified and forced to lockdown at its deadly strike. But your Sovereignty stands tall that [Heb.4:13] no matter, how microscopic and deadly the virus is! nothing in all creation is hidden from your sight and operate outside your control O God! Surely nothing [Lam. 3:37] came to pass, unless you O Lord has commanded it. O Sovereign God, at this historic moment, the pandemic corona virus disease (Covid-19) has rendered tens of millions helplessly suffering and killed millions of people across the world. [Isaiah 5:14& 25] The grave indeed enlarges its appetite and opens its mouth without limit; rich and poor, high and low alike descend into it (the grave) and the dead bodies are like refuse or garbage in the streets among the nations. [Isaiah 12:2-5] Nations wail over the death and the loss. People lament their destruction and their voices of loud cry are heard to the end of the earth and their hearts are irreconcilable and faint. [Isaiah 8:21&22] Distress and Hungry roam through the land, as famine lurks at the door. Distress and darkness and fearful gloom are visible among the nations. No matter how advance and capable, the humanity is, at the deadly strike of the Covid-19 [Isaiah 13:6&7] all hands became feeble, and every human heart melted and all nations are made to know that we are but men.

O Sovereign Lord, [Hab. 3:2] in your wrath remember mercy; O Creator of heaven and the earth and everything in them, 'Remember your creation, [Gen. 6:3] we are but mortal'. [Isaiah 64:9] Do not be angry beyond measure; O LORD; do not remember our sins forever. Oh, look on us, we pray, for we are all your people. O Lord, Jesus! [Heb.2:14-18] you, who shared the humanity with us in flesh and blood and made like Your brothers in every way, so that You might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that you might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because you yourself suffered when you were tempted {while you were here} you are able to help all those who are being tempted. Therefore remember Lord Jesus! how you wept at the dead of Lazarus and comforted Mary and Martha by raising him back to life; how you comforted your mother Mary, from the cross as "a sword pierced her own soul.” by offering your beloved disciple John as her son to comfort her. So grant comfort to the loved ones of millions stricken by the Covid-19 across the world.

Remember, Lord, your compassion that healed multitudes with all kind of diseases. Today grant them your compassionate healing as millions longs for healing from Covid-19.

Remember Lord, your compassion that said [Mark 8:3]"If I send them away hungry, they may faint on the way" and you fed the 4000 people without food for three days: Today, the pandemic

Intercessory Prayer in the midst of Pandemic Covid-19 Plague

Covid-19 have deprived millions of their daily bread and will continue its course of effect; So feed them O Lord that they may not faint and seek your face early. O Sovereign God! the One who sustains all things by your powerful word, if it be your will [Heb.1:3] bring an end to the rapid spread of this pandemic disease at the earliest that normal life may resume for the glory of your name and your purposes alone.

O Sovereign Lord, apart from your providences, we acknowledge the administration of your grace through human means during this pandemic Covid-19 plague; to this end, we commit to all the frontrunners to under compassionate arms - the leaders of the nations and world for your wisdom and understanding; doctors and nurses for knowledge, skills with wisdom, patience, endurance, love and caring kindness; the scientists for knowledge as they work out for vaccine, all other agencies involved as for provisions and strength with heavenly wisdom. Grant them all protection from contracting Covid-19, strength and guidance to execute their assignments efficiently and effectively. Grant all the resources needed to tackle this plague in your mercy O Lord.

Remember, O Lord, [Psalms 25:6&8] your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Good and upright is the Lord; who instructs sinners in His ways. [John 3:16,17] In your love, O God you gave away your One and Only Son as ransom for the sins of the world that whoever believes in him shall have eternal life and be condemned no more. [Ps. 34:18] “O Lord! you who are close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” [Ps. 81:7] deliver those who called You in trouble, and You who answer them in the secret place of thunder: Listen to the cries of the millions, horrified by this pandemic Covid-19 and grant them life eternal and hope in Christ, O lord, for your name sake.

Indeed we join the choruses of the thousands of angels in Heaven rejoicing over the many repented souls and being saved through this crisis from across the nations of the world. And To thee our God and the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world be glory forever and ever.

O gracious God, awaken the Church, the body of Christ, manifolds to pour out more of her lives, the love of Christ to the world now and reach out the Gospel to the end of the earth through all possible means in fulfillment of your commission of world evangelization.

O Lord, grant thy grace to her members the assurance of right standing on the Solid rock, Our lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ so that each member carry out the mission courageously and yet judiciously at the face of Covid-19 that none will be responsible for one's own death and for the death of others. Whatever Your sovereign will may be for each one, O Lord, may we affirm with Apostle, Paul say [Philip.1:21] 'for me to live is Christ and to die is gain'. And echoed with yours saints 'but whether life or death be mine, may Christ be magnified in me! If he has work for me to do, I cannot die'. (Henry Martyn).

Abba Father! hear the prayers of the Church as she joins [Rom.8:26&27] the intercession of the Holy Spirit who intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will and [Rom.8:34] our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus, who is at the right hand of God, interceding for us.

O Sovereign lord, we acknowledge that even the Church doesn't fully understand how you work to achieve your purposes - as how [Act 8:1] the persecution of early Church in Jerusalem led to the spread of the Gospels from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth and the unplanned circumstance of Apostle Paul [Philip.1:12] served to advance the gospel.[Rom. 11:33] Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! To Him who does millions of things through Christ our Lord and Saviour during this pandemic Covid-19 plague that no human mind has perceived, to Him be glory forever and ever. Amen
