Interlocutor Mishra holds meeting with NSCN (IM)

The Government of India’s Interlocutor for the Indo-Naga peace talks, AK Mishra met with NSCN (IM) leaders at the Police Complex in Chümoukedima on April 22. A senior NSCN (IM) leader informed that “today's meeting was mainly focused on how to bring the solution at the earliest.” He said that during the meeting it was made clear that the talks have “dragged on for too long.” “People are getting restless waiting for the long awaited Naga political solution,” the NSCN (IM) leader stated. It was further informed that another session is scheduled to be held at the Chümoukedima Police Complex on April 23. Friday’s meeting comes a day after the Government of India’s Interlocutor met with the Working Committee (WC) of Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) on April 21.
