International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking observed

On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Excise department held a commemorative programme on June 26 at its conference hall in Dimapur. The programme included discussions on significance of the day, challenges and experiences, and a look on the various drugs seizures during the year. Tarep Imchen, Commissioner of Excise led the department in declaration of pledge, where all the Excise enforcement personnel rededicated their service in fighting the drug menace prevalent in the State, informed a press release from Deputy Commissioner of Excise (HQ), Kevisetuo Angami.
