Tuensang: International Nursing Day was observed at Chapel Hall Tuensang organised by trained Nurses Association of India Tuensang Branch (TNAI) under the theme “Nurses: A force for Change, A vital Resource for the Health” on May 12. Doctors, Pastors Union, NGOs, representation from Chongpu Khel Union, Senior Nurses and the Students nurses, attended the programme.
President Tuensang Branch, Chubala TNAI, chaired the programme while the Nursing Superintend Tuensang, Hisule Keppen Khing, initiated the introduction to the theme. Medical Superintend in-charge of Tuensang Hospital, Dr. Hatlhing Hangsing gave an exhortation where she encouraged the students Nurses by stating a phrase “enjoyment is not a goal oriented activity but it is a feeling in the ongoing activity”. She also stated that enthusiasm and devotions should be the base in the work without which one will not find enjoyment in the work. Speakers from different NGOs also conveyed Happy International Nursing Day and best wishes in their service endeavours.
