Jalukie, May 7 (MExN): In commemoration of the Golden Jubilee year of Jalukie Town establishment, the Golden Jubilee Literary Committee organized an inter-school literary competition on May 5 and 6 for schools located in Jalukie town.
The programme was organized as a two day events, engaging all sections of students in the literary event including drawing, painting, essay writing, quiz and elocution.
Rhosetuo Nguori, SDO (Civil) Jalukie and D Robin, SDO (Civil) Sadar Peren graced the programme on day one and two as chief guest respectively. The felicitation programme was graced by the Principal Government Higher Secondary School Jalukie.
Jalukie Town Golden Jubilee Literary committee, Convener, Rampaukai Mpom in a press release said that the competition saw the participation of 12 schools participating in various events. Altogether around 500 students attended the programme. The competition was carried out and selection of winners was done by the panel of judges appointed by the committee. The winners were awarded first, second and third, for each category, with certificate and cash prize.
