Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The 1st and 2nd round of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) Sunday in Dimapur District concluded with a total coverage of 53530 in 1st Round and 54185 in 2nd Round. The target population was 53167 (0-5 years) children, the department has been able to achieve above the set target during this round of IPPI 2017.
Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi, Chief Medical Officer in a press release has acknowledged the co-operation extended by Deputy Commissioner and chairman (IPPI Task Force), and the Administrative Officers, DPO (ICDS), DEO, DWO, DPRO, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Helpers’ Club, Assam Rifles, Railway officials, Defense Officials, Dimapur Muslim Council and other NGOs, Chief Medical Officer would further like to extend his appreciation to Dr. Visasieü Kire SPO Universal Immunization Program (UIP) and her State Monitoring Team Dr. Tiasunep, Dr. Ahu from Directorate of Health & Family welfare, Dr. Shiela Longkumer, WHO Consultant, Dy. CMO, Dr. Lanuakum, DPO (UIP/RCH) Dimapur and all the program officers and staffs under CMO and MS establishment for achieving more than the target set by the State.
