Kohima, June 19 (DIPR): The Nagaland Information Commission held a sensitization cum interactive session with IPR officials on June 18, 2011 at the Officers Conference Hall, Directorate of IPR. Chief Information Commissioner (CIC), Lalhuma highlighted on the objectives of RTI Act, with a power point presentation, with a view for effective implementation of the Act. Chief Information Commissioner, Lalhuma along with State Information Commissioner, Kevinino Meru are sensitizing key departments of the State with regard to RTI Act, IPR being the third department. They would be covering approximately 28 departments by the month of September 2011.
Commissioner & Secretary IPR Nagaland, Temjen Toy, IAS delivered the welcome address while Joint Director & PIO, IPR Department Limawati highlighted the implementation of RTI in the department with a power point presentation. The programme was chaired by Director, IPR Imokokba while Additional Director IPR, Pausui Zeliang delivered the vote of thanks.
