To  provides Free ambulance service during Hornbill Festival

The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland state branch has opened its stall at the ongoing Hornbill Festival, Kisama. It was formally launched by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on December 2.

The Society has announced to provide free ambulance services from December 1 to 10 from Kisama to any hospital in Kohima. There will also be on-the-spot First Aid training and also blood donation awareness and blood donation drive.

The Society informed that it aims to create awareness on the Red Cross Movement and its activities in Nagaland and beyond.

 Membership fee drive is also going on. IRCS Nagaland state branch general secretary Akhale V. Khamo informed that IRCSN helped an army personal name Chiranjivi Sanyasi (28 years) on December 2 after he had a head injury when he fall from the building while washing hands.

The IRCSN provided free ambulance service and took him to Naga Hospital for medical treatment and drop him to Jakhama army camp, Khamo said.
