DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) State branch in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland Mon District organized a First Aid training program, equipping students with essential life-saving skills.
The training was held at KU Hall Thamnan ward Mon district on October 13, with participants, including Junior Red Cross (JRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) members, from 2 Colleges (Wangkhao College and Vale College) and 3 Schools (Model School, St. John Higher Secondary and Christ King School) with a total of 127 trainees participated in the training.
Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, DC Mon District & President IRCSN (Mon District) encouraged the students with his motivational speech, and introduction on Red Cross was given by Dr Vezhokholu Theyo, CMO & Vice President IRCSN (Mon District).
The resource persons were Dr Wangba from Mon District Hospital and Kholie Dolf, St John Ambulance First Aid Master Trainer. Talks on the history, emblem and the seven fundamental principles of Red Cross, important topics on first aid and basic life support with practical live demonstrations was given.
