IRCSN launches ambulance in Zunheboto

Dimapur, April 23 (MExN): General Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN), Zakie Kire formally launched an ambulance donated by MLAs of Zunheboto district (2012 – 13) at DC’s office premises, Zunheboto on April 22.

Press note issued by Honorary Secretary, IRCS Zunheboto branch stated that Zakie Kire while congratulating IRCS Zunheboto district for getting the most essential ambulance service, urged the members present to judiciously utilize the ambulance service to save lives and also to render service to the poor and needy patient in the district. Kire in his inaugural speech also conveyed his profound gratitude to the then Minister Kaito Aye and MLAs of the district for the generous contribution towards the humanitarian services. He also called upon the members of IRCS, Zunheboto district branch to extend concerted effort to enroll more members in order to strengthen the branch, it stated.

The function was chaired by Hokugha Sukhalu, Vice-Chairman IRCS Zunheboto district branch. Shitoho Kiho, Associate Pastor, Sumi Baptist Church, Zunheboto invoked for God’s blessing, while Relise Sangtam, EAC, DC office Zunheboto presented a short speech on the policies and principles of Red Cross Movement on behalf of the district administration.
