Ist Tech Fest Nagaland 2019 concludes

NEPeD chairman Kevechutso Doulo today challenged the technical students to use their minds wisely and make a difference.
Speaking at closing ceremony of the three day long Ist Tech Fest Nagaland 2019 under the theme “NagaTech- Redefining Ideas” organised by Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland and hosted by Government Polytechnic Kohima, he said the innovators and technical education department is going to make difference and going to reform the society.
He requested the students not to be scared of failure but to venture out and make the best use their talents.
Doulo urged upon the students to keep on learning new things and live their life with dignity and pride.
“The great achievers are humble, they have determination, they are committed and responsible,” he said.
He urged the students to be committed and give their best and be an asset to the society.
Also speaking on the occasion, Menuokholie Kire, Joint Director & In-charge Director Higher Education acknowledged minister Temjen Imna Along and technical education department for initiating this TechFest for technical students and urged the department to expand it to North East in future.
Urging the technical students to dream big and excel, he said, “Whatever you do, do with sincerity and passion.”
Stating that the present society is living in the world where Artificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere, he said “Whether we it like or not, we have to live with the latest technology and be part of AI stage.”
“The world belongs to those who have big dreams and are sincere,” he said.
He also urged the intellectuals to give back to the society in whatever way they can “so that we can build a better society.”
“Your talents, your ideas, innovation can bring a change.”
Mentionably, this TechFest Nagaland was the brainchild of minister for technical education & higher education and tribal affairs Temjen Imna Along to encourage and inspire the technical institutes in Nagaland to think big and go beyond boundaries, inspire young minds to do big and to enable the technical students to actualize their innovation skills etc.
