‘IT&C dept should be ready to embrace a better future’

Kohima, April 13 (DIPR): Department of Information Technology & Communication (IT&C) held an introductory meeting with Advisor of the department, Mmhonlumo Kikon on April 12.

Addressing the staff and officers, Mmhonlumo said if they do well, “we have the future in our hands.” With failure and experience, he stated, the department should be ready to embrace a better future.

The Advisor believed that all of the staff and officers are equally serious and sincere towards making the programmes work, with stability in the State for five years and with that mandate, to change the department and change the State.

“Nagaland being a small state, many big players may not be interested in coming and working, but we have our strength to exploit that, and if we focus our energy on the future, we will be able to work,” he added.

Mmhonlumo assured that he will invest in workshops, conferences and seminars as upgrading themselves and being in tune with the development of technological world is very important. “The focus should be to upgrade our knowledge,” he asserted.
